***MAGGIE WILL BE AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION ON NOVEMBER 17 2006*****

Maggie May is making it to the USA out of Ontario Canada!!!

Maggie is 12 weeks old. Already, she knows "sit", "paw", and "down", and is pretty close to being housetrained. She mouths abit, but nothing compared to the other puppies that I have met her age. She has amazing bite inhibition, and responds extremely well to "ouch" when she does nip. She bonds super quickly to people, has amazing eye contact, and a definte willingness to learn. She is very curious, fearless, and a little feisty. Just the way a proper puppy should be! I really can't get over how smart she is. She knows when she has picked up something she is not supposed to, and will come right to you when you tell her so that you can take whatever object she has out of her mouth. Her head is constantly tilting from side to side when she is trying to figure something out, and after just three days with me, is picking up crate training quicker than any of my adult dogs. I think someone is going to get very lucky with this girl. She is sweet, very intelligent, and GORGEOUS.

I really wanted to foster her, but didn't say so cause I knew I couldn't give her up.... Sad

she will be with me for 3 months, i have to work on her barking issue with people, and then she will be available for adoption.. i had 2 apps on her already, both crap...

she is here!!! i got her tonight at 4.. she is a little spitfire...... really small and tiny, if she tops out at 40lbs i will be amazed. we are doing very slow intros w/ my dogs as she is very dog reactive, so we are doing alot of leash/squirt bottle/treats/leash corrections,etc to get her to lay peacefully w/ my 3....

she is a little spitfire.. tons of energy.. her dog manners are horrible, i mean really really bad, so we are working on that. today she goes to a rescue street fair with me so she can work on her dog/people skills. she had no socialization in ontario since she wsnt registered, so she lived in fear of being taken by the ACO and euthed. i put some pics in gallery from last night, more will go up tonight after the street fair.
